December 9, 2015 – The Nigerian Under 23 team, also called Olympic Team, this evening defeated the young lad of Senegal to qualify for the Rio Olympic in Brazil.
The game ended goal-less in the first half until the 76th minutes when Nigeria’s Ezekiel Etebo converted a penalty kick. The score line now takes Nigeria to the final of the Olypic Qualifier and to the ultimate, Rio Olympic.
The Samson SIasia tutored boys will now await the winner between South Africa and Algeria to determine their partner in the final.
