October 09, 2015 – Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) today named Ogenyi Onazi as Vice Captain of the Super Eagles.
This followed confusion that arose when newly named captain, Ahmed Musa was to exchange the captain’s band with that of Mitchel Obi in the encounter between the Eagles and DR Congo which they lost 2:0.
The NFF also named Kenneth Omeruo as 2nd Vice Captain and Efe Ambrose as team spokesman.
The NFF announced all these position on its official Tweeter page.
