Rioters set house of assembly alight

KATMANDU – Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal has resigned.
The PM resigned following weeks of protests against social media ban. His resignation has not been able to stop the protest by young Nepalese who are angry about widespread corruption.
The PM is reported to have to have fled as reports say the airport has been closed.
Aljazeera reported that the young Nepalese don’t want to see any vestige of the now crumbled government and are calling for fresh elections.
About 25 people are believed to have been killed by security forces during the protest. The national assembly complex has been set alight by angry youths.
