November 18, 2015 – The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed 32 people dead and 80 others injured when terrorists detonated Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Yola on Tuesday.

In a press statement, Senior Information Officer, NEMA, Mr. Sani Datti said the Yola explosion took place around 7: 52pm. He said the suicide bomber detonated explosive at a tipper garage in Jambutu, Jimeta Adamawa State, killing 32 people.

He explained that the casualties were evacuated to Specialists hospital Jimeta, Federal Medical Centre and Peace hospitals for medical attention.
