CHUKUBA – The Nigerian Air Force believed to be on a mission to evacuate wounded soldiers has crashed in Niger State.
The plane, NAF MI-171, which was on casualty evacuation mission crashed near Chukuba village in Niger State.
The incident according to NAF sources occurred at about 1pm, shortly after departing Zungeru Primary School enroute Kaduna but crashed near Chukuba village in Shiroro Local Government Area in Niger.
Efforts were said to be on to evacuate casualty from the scene of the crash.
