AGBADO, Ogun, Nigeria – A sixteen year old daughter, names withheld has petitioned Agbado Police Station, Ogun State detailing how her 52 year old father has subjected her to repeated defilement.
In the petition, the girl alleged that her father has been defiling her since she was 14. She told the police that all her efforts to stop her father from continuing with the relationship proved abortive hence her resolve to report it to the police.
Acting on the petition, crack detectives from the Agbado Police Station moved into action, leading to the arrest of the 52 year old Adebayo Akinrinoye who resides at 11, Kabiru close, Idi Oparun bus stop, Matogun, Agbado, Ogun State. He was arrested September 23, 2021.
The Police spokesperson in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who disclosed this on Friday, said detectives arrested the man and that the suspect confessed committing the crime but has asked for forgiveness from his daughter.
