LONDON, UK – A COWARDLY killer, Shaine has finally admitted stabbing a young mum to death in a frenzied attack while her toddler daughter was asleep inside.

Monster Shaine March, 45, pleaded guilty to the murder of Alana Odysseos, 32, after the beautiful mum was knifed multiple times outside her Walthamstow home last year.

Screaming neighbours were woken by Alana’s desperate cries for help in the early hours of Monday, July 22, as she stumbled out of her house onto Lynmouth Road.

The Old Bailey heard that numerous 999 calls were made around 3am as Alana was found lying in the street after the brutal assault.

But witnesses who rushed to her side heard her last horrifying words: “Shaine stabbed me!”

Police and paramedics raced to the scene, but tragically, despite their best efforts, they could not save Alana, and she died there.

It was revealed that Alana’s two-year-old daughter was inside the address at the time of the horrific attack.

March, of Rainsborough Avenue, Lewisham, was snared by cops just hours later and charged with murder the following day.

Detectives built a crushing case against the brute using damning CCTV evidence and witness statements which proved he had been in the house before the attack.

Detective Inspector Aytac Necati, who led the investigation, branded March a “cowardly individual” who showed “absolutely no remorse”.

DI Necati said: “My thoughts remain with Alana’s family and friends, as well as her young daughter, their lives will never be the same after she was so brutally taken away from them.

”March is a cowardly individual who showed absolutely no remorse for Alana or her family. Today he has finally admitted murder and will rightly face the consequences of his actions.”

The detective also highlighted the devastating toll of domestic abuse, adding: “This case shows the devastating impact domestic abuse has on victim-survivors, families and communities.”

March admitted the murder at the Old Bailey on Friday, October 17.

He has now been warned to expect a life sentence when he returns to court for sentencing on Friday, October 31.
