LAGOS, Nigeria – Former Deputy Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly, Hon. Mojisola Meranda has been sworn in as Speaker.
She was sworn in shortly after the impeachment of Mudasiru Obasa.
Mojisola Lasbat Meranda who is from the Ojora Royal family will be the first female speaker in Lagos.
Meanwhile, Oba Abdulwasiu Gbolahan Lawal, the Oniru of Iru kingdom has congratulated her.
