January 21, 2016 – National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisah Metuh today appeared in court on fresh two-count charge.
He was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for destroying confessional statement obtained by the EFCC, which contravenes section 326 of the EFCC Act.
Justice Ishaq Bello of the Federal High Court, Abuja adjourned the case till February 26, for EFCC’s witnesses.
Bello promised to communicate to both parties if the bail application would be heard on Friday or on Monday but remanded Metuh in custody.
