OWERRI, Imo, Nigeria – The Prelate of Methodist Church of Nigeria, Owerri, Imo State, His Eminence Rev. Samuel Kanu has who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen has regained freedom.
The Prelate was kidnapped and along with his fellow travelers in the South East.
We gathered that he was released with two others abducted with him.
It is not clear if ransom was paid before the prelate was released along with his co-travelers by the kidnappers. He and his co-travelers were released in the South East state of Abia.
The diocese had demanded for his unconditional release.
