FRANCE – Lionel Messi, who recently joined PSG from Barcelona tonight emerged winner of Ballon D’Or 2021.
The legendary striker from Argentina defeated the likes of Jorginho and N’Golo Kante to win the award.
The Ballon D’Or is an annual sports event sponsored by French Magazine, France Football. The event could not be held last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Winning the 2021 edition makes it seven for the Messi.
