NEW YORK – An unidentified man has made away with a bucket of gold flakes worth about $1.6 million, the New York police has said.
According to the police gold flakes is worth about $1.6m.
Police say the gold flakes was on the back of a van parked on the street in Manhattan from where the man, who is believed to have fled to Florida carted it and made away with it.
The man according to the police waited until the security guards in charge of the gold flakes were distracted before grabbing and making away with it.
The police in New York are not on the lookout for the man.
