AWKA, Anambra, Nigeria – Former Governorship aspirant on the platform of  People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra state, Dr Godwin Maduka on Wednesday said that members of the PDP and All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA members will still vote for him at the poll.

He stated this at his campaign office Awka while decamping from PDP to ACCORD as its a governorship candidate for the November 6, election. He also unveiled Mr. Kenneth Obi as his running-mate for the state 2021 poll.

He said that despite leaving PDP for Accord Party,  people at the grassroots love him and they are ready to vote for him.

According to him, if there was election to determined who emerges the party candidate , he could  have won . He said that he left the party because  there was no primary election rather   selection. Maduka said in the election eve delegates list were changed three times

He  also said that  his administration would revamp the state health sector with a view to turning Anambra State into a medical tourism destination for world researchers and the sick.

According to him, his  administration would be anchored on 10-point agenda including  mechanized agriculture, affordable and accessible health care, free and standard education, women and youth empowerment, security and justice, infrastructure and tourism, environmental hygiene and renewable energy, unrestrained traffic flow, technology and digital economy, etc.

The  State Chairman of the party, Prince Batho Igwedibia, who presented the candidates to public  described him  as outstanding politicians with impeccable characters and capacities to develop Anambra to an enviable height.

Igwedibia, urged electorates to vote for the party on November 6 gubernatorial poll because it is parading the best.
