BRASILIA – President of Brazil, Lula Da Silva has said that with time many who criticise him will be forced to realise that he was right when he compared Israel’s war on Gaza with the Nazi Regime of Adolf Hitler.
Da Silva had during the 37th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia said: “This is not war of soldiers against soldiers. it is a war between a very prepared army and women and children”.
Da Silva who was speaking at the opening ceremony of the 4th National Culture Conference in Brasilia said time will show he was right when he expressed his support for Palestine, adding that Palestinians have a right to live and establish their own country.
He alluded to the killing of 118 Palestinians when Israel opened fire on innocent Palestinians starved of food, water and medicine, who had come out enmass for food as humanitarian trucks enter Gaza.
He criticised the west who donate food to Palestine and turn around to arm Israel in its genocidal war in Gaza.
