August 5, 2014 – Lawmakers in Lagos State have joined residents of the state to mourn the passing away of Oba of Ikorodu, Oba Salaudeen Oyefusi, mother of the Chairman House of Assembly Commission, Chief Wale Mogaji and a member of the Legislative Directorate of the House of Assembly, Mr. Mobee Idowu.
Speaking at the plenary, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade representing Ikorodu Constituency described the death of the Kabiesi as a great loss to the people of Ikorodu.
Hon. Rotimi Abiru an indegene of Ikorodu also sympathize with the people of Ikorodu, on the death of the monarch, adding that he will no doubt be missed”, and urged the assembly to pay a visit to the people of Ikorodu to express condolence.
In a related development, the Lawmakers also sympathize with the Chairman of Lagos State House of Assembly Service Commissions Chief Wale Mogaji on the death of his mother.
The Lawmakers also sympathized with the family of Mr. Mobee Idowu a member of staff in the Legislative Directorate of the Assembly, who died in the early hours of Monday at the age of 43.
