April 27, 2015 – Management of the Lagos State University (LASU) has called on staff, students and the general public to discountenance the information making the rounds that the recess declared on March 25, 2015 has been called off, nothing that the recess is still very much in force.
In a statement issued today, LASU Management assured all that all activities put in place to ensure that all graduates of the university already mobilized for NYSC Batch A scheduled to commence on May 5, 2015 will not be hindered by the recess.
The statement added the affected students are being duly attended to by the relevant service areas in the university.
“Staff and Students who do not fall into the category enunciated above are therefore advised to stay away from the University pending its re opening”, Head of Public Relations, LASU, Mrs. Ronke Osho said in the statement.
