Lagos State University, LASU is currently on fire as students protest their inability to register for their second semester examination.

We gathered that the students were required to register online to be able to sit for the examination but that only 708 students have been able to register for the exam due to commence Thursday, leaving about 1,292 students.

Our investigation revealed that the students who are obviously not too educated about the working of the internet misconstrued their inability to log onto the potter to deliberate effort by the Vice Chancellor, Professor John Obafunwa to shut them out of the examination.

We were informed that officials of the student union government visited the VC to plead in behalf of the affected students but that the VC allegedly said that those yet to register were insignificant and would automatically have to carry the session over.

This statement was said to have infuriated the students who decided to take laws into their hands and started pelting the VC with stones.

The VC was also quoted to have said 11,300 students, have registered so far, and that the remaining 1292 students crying foul are minority.

Meanwhile, members of the Rapid Response Squad,(RRS) have been drafted to the scene.
