Lagos on Fire as Gang War Consumes 50 Vehicles

January 21, 2015 – There was mayhem at Mafoluku Oshodi, Lagos on Tuesday when two cult groups clashed, leading to loss of lives destruction of over 50 vehicles.

Centre of the war was Sadiku area of Mafoluku where the thugs unleashed mayhem on residents.

Trouble started when a group allegedly domiciled at Sadiku Street attacked those in Orile area in Oshodi and killed one of them. The Orile gang carried out reprisal attack on Sadiku and vandalised all vehicles parked on the street and in the neigbouring streets.

Pandemonium ensued as the gang stormed Sadiku unannounced to avenge killing of their colleagues.
Speaking on the issue, a resident said the gang vandalised vehicles on Afariogun Street and other nearby streets as they wield dangerous weapons daring anyone to confront them.

Another resident in the area said people have started running away from the area to avoid being caught in the crisis.
