IKEJA, Nigeria – The Lagos State Government has filed two charges of sexual assault at the Lagos High Court, Ikeja against one Moses Joseph for sexually assaulting a 13 year old girl with his fingers and private part.
In the charge sheet filed 17th of May 2021, Moses Joseph is charged with indecent treatment of a child, contrary to section 135 of the Criminal Law of Lagos, Chapter C17, Vol 3 Law of Lagos State.
In the particulars of the suit, the Lagos State Government avers: “Moses Joseph, on the 17th day of September 2020, at about 11PM, at No. 25, Kadiri Street, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos , within Ikeja Judicial division , indulged in the act of indecent treatment of one Rose(not her real names) aged 13 years by putting your fingers in her vagina and making her suck your pennies.
Moses Joseph is also charged with defilement of a child, contrary to Section 137 of the Criminal Law Chapter C17, Vol 3 Law of Lagos State 2015.
In the particulars of the offence, the Lagos State Government avers: “Moses Joseph on the 17th day of September 2020 at about 11PM at No. 25 Kadiri Street, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, within the Ikeja Judicial Division defiled one Rose(not her real names) aged 13 years by having unlawful sexual intercourse with her.
Director of Public Prosecution, A. O. Adeyemi Mrs has listed six witnesses and about four exhibits, including video recording. The matter is yet to be assigned to any judge.
