Afolayan won Best Director while his film, October 1 emerged Best Movie. Kehinde Bankole emerged Best Actress while OC Ukeje won Best Actor.
Winners in this category pocketed N1 million and 6 month’s supply of Amstel Malta.
October 1 won 7 awards at the fiesta , followed closely by The Meeting Produced by Rita Dominic.The organizers also used the occasion to honour the late filmmaker Amaka Igwe who passed on in 2014.
