CHICAGO – King of talk shows and host of Americans most popular talk show, Jerry Springer is dead.

He was 79. Jerry Springer died peacefully in  his Chicago home after a brief illness,  a family statement said.

The Jerry Springer show  was a lovely show watched all over the world as result of issues treated, ranging from marital infidelity to other social problems plaguing the family unit.

In the 27 year that the show ran on major networks, it was a major competitor to the popular Opray Winfrey Show which also featured on popular networks.

In a statement,  Jene Galvin, a family friend said, “Jerry’s ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word.

He’s irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart and humor will live on”, she said.

The Jerry Springer show ended in 2018 after about 4,000 hilarious  episodes.
