November 9, 2015 – Nigeria’s U17 captain and midfielder, Kelechi Nwakalia, spotting number 10 shirt today emerged as the most valuable player at the just concluded FIFA Under 17 tournament in Chile and received the FIFA Golden booth for the feat.
Victor Osimhen won two awards in the tournament, second best player and highest goal scorer. He got the Adidas golden booth and silver trophy.
He also succeeded in scoring his 10th goal at the tournament to set a new record as highest goal scorer in a single tournament in the U17 FIFA soccer.
Best goal keeper however went to the Malian goalkeeper, Samuel Diarra.
