IKOYI, Lagos – The very old Keffi flyover which conveys motorists playing the old Federal Secretariat, Dodan Barracks and other areas in Ikoyi has collapsed partially.
According to an online video report uploaded by the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, the partial collapse claimed two innocent lives.
According to the report, the bridge collapsed on a tricycle better known as Keke Marwa, killing two passengers on board.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government has horridly closed the section of the rickety bridge to traffic as part of efforts to prevent more casualties.
The Keffi flyover is one of the oldest bridge in Nigeria and is one of federal structures in dilapidated states abandoned by the Federal Government for decades.
