MUNICH – HARRY KANE landed a brutal knockout blow on Kylian Mbappe as Bayern Munich sent Paris Saint-Germain crashing out of Europe last night.

England’s captain was immense as the German giants grabbed a last-gasp 2-1 win to dump the French sulk-stars and their billions on the scrapheap AGAIN.

It was meant to be the night of the two megastars, but Our Harry left Mbappe in his shadow in a fiery Munich showdown.

The flashy French side, desperate to finally win the big one, actually took the lead against the run of play.

Mbappe, who looked like he’d rather be anywhere else, suddenly burst to life and slotted home a slick opener just after the break.

But you can’t keep the Germans down.

Bayern roared back just ten minutes later, with ex-Chelsea whizkid Jamal Musiala dancing through the PSG defence to level the scores.

From then on, it was all Bayern. Kane bullied the PSG backline, holding up the ball and bringing his teammates into the game while Mbappe threw his arms up in the air.

The £100m man didn’t find the net himself, but he did everything else. And with just two minutes left on the clock, Kane threaded a perfect pass to Leon Goretzka, whose wicked cross was bundled home by super-sub Thomas Muller.

The stadium erupted, and PSG’s dream was dead.

For Kane, it’s another step closer to the trophy he craves. For PSG and their Qatari owners, it’s just another billion quid down the drain.
