IKEJA, Lagos – The Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria(AJMN) has concluded plans to honour the late exponent of Soko music, the late Idowu Adedayo Kujore, who was in his days known as Wonder Dayo Kujore.
The juju musicians have fixed the Artistes Night for Wednesday, January 26, 2022. The event is taking place at Plot 2 Otumba Jobi Fele Way, besides Matinos Hotel, Alausa Central Business District. The all White event is scheduled to start at 3pm.
The event is coming just a day before wake keep scheduled for January 27th at the Kujore compound, Igbore Robiyan Village, Ogun State at 4pm. The family said his burial service will follow on the 28th of January at the Emmanuel African Church, Igbore, Robiyan after which the late musician will be interred
Recall that the juju musician died January 10, 2022 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, GRA, Ikeja after a brief ailment. He was 69.
