President Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and President of the Senate, Senator David Mark have commended the Super Eagles for defeating the Antelopes of Ethiopia in Calabar.
In a statement signed by Special Assistant to the President on Media, Dr. Ruben Abati, the President said that with the defeat, the Super Eagles remains the first African team to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, coming up in Brazil.
He challenged the Super Eagles to prove their worth in the global fiesta. President of the Senate said the team made Nigerians proud for defeating the Ethiopians.
