LAGOS, Nigeria – Nollywood superstar, Jim Iyke has opened his mouth, may be too wide on women matters when he said it is impossible for a single mother to raise up a boy child properly.
According to him, a boy child needs a male influence to be raised up properly as a man.
“It takes a man to make a man just as it takes a woman to make a woman”, he said.
Jim Iyke said he knows women will come down heavily on him for saying what he considers to be the truth.
” A single mother cannot raise a man properly. A growing boy child needs a man that is doing well to look up to.
“If as a single mum, you can’t get your son’s father to be in his life, go get your father, or even your brother that is doing well to be a male influence in your son’s life.
“Women don’t understand how to raise men because they’re naturally built to love and nurture. And if you raise a boy child like that, he’ll be a very wêak man.
” A boy needs a male influence who will raise him with tough love and tell him No!
“As many times as possible and teach him to hustle for everything not have it given to him. That’s what it takes to be a man, you have to work for everything.
