WEMBLY, England – It was Italy that got the last laugh on Sunday night when they defeated England 3-2 on penalty shootout at Wembley.
It was the failure of Rashback and Saka to find the back of the net during penalty shot that gave Italy the win at the Euro 2020.
Luke Shaw opened the scoreline in the second minutes with assist from Keran Tripper. Leonardo Bonucci equalized for Italy equalized in the 67th minutes with assist from Marco Verrati.
