August 9, 2014 – The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) today paraded Boko Haram kingpin, Alhaji Zakari Muhammed who is alleged to have escaped from police custody.
Muhammed was arrested in Bauchi on July 15th, 2014 by the Nigerian police but rumours were rife recently that he had escaped from custody prompting the police to parade him in Abuja.
Speaking during the occasion, Mohammed confessed he killed only five people in operation and that it takes him just two minutes to slaughter his target.
While parading the suspect, Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Mba told reporters, “You have seen him now, it is clear that the suspect said to have escaped is still in police custody”, he said, adding that Mohammed has made confessional statements useful for police counter insurgency operation.
