JENIN – At least 10 Palestinians have been killed and several injured in a massive raid by hundreds of Israeli soldiers in Jenin, the occupied West Bank.
According to reports monitored on Aljazeera tv hundreds of Israeli tanks were mobilised for the operation targeting militants operating within the camp.
Structures obstructing areas difficult to reach are being knocked down by the Israeli forces who said they uncovered cache of arms and explosives.
The soldiers raided areas indiscriminately and threw teargas in one of the hospitals for treating children making it difficult to attend to those being treated.
Meanwhile in Tel Aviv a loan attacker drove into a bus stop with commuters injuring eight people in the process. The attacker, we gathered from reports, came down and started stabbing the injured until he was gunned down by a passerby.
Meanwhile Hamas has hailed the attack in Israel describing it as a response to raids in Jenin, the occupied West Bank.
