August 2, 2014 -There are sporadic protests in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Paris, France demanding an end to the massacre and continued targeting of civilians in Gaza as Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel will continue to push ahead in its offensive against Palestine, warning that it will not be forced into any truce with Hamas.

While addressing the media on Saturday, Netanyahu said that troops in Gaza have almost completed destruction of tunnels which were being used by Hamas to smuggle rockets into Gaza and terrorize Israel.

He made the remarks even as there were reports that Israel has begun withdrawing tanks from some areas in Gaza.

Netanyahu said the offensive will continue until stockpile of weapons are eliminated and he is able to restore long time quiet to Israel. There are reports that Israeli troops have destroyed about 7,000 rockets out of the 10,000 rockets Hamas is believed to have.

Meanwhile shelling of Gaza had continued with the University of Gaza and some mosques as major targets. So far at 64 mosques are believed to have been levelled down by Israel.

So far, the United Nations Workers and Relief Agency(UNWRA) says 1,672 Palestinians has been killed by Israel in the 26 days offensive, most of them civilians while 8,950 have been injured.

Israel has lost 63 soldiers and three civilians. At least 254, 188 Palestinians are said to be taking shelter in the camp run by UNWRA.
