LAGOS, Nigeria – Candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Mr. Peter Obi is winner of the February 23 Presidential election held across the federation.
According to IREV, the server deployed by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC where the final results were uploaded after the election, Peter Obi won 19 states and the FCT to emerge winner of the election.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP won in eight(8) states, while All Progressive Congress, APC won only seven (7)states.
Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Datti Baba-Ahmed revealed this information on his Twitter handle.
All though, he is yet to reveal the total number of votes Peter Obi secured, he said Peter Obi won 19 states and the Federal Capital territory.
Recall that INEC announced results of the election before all the results obtained from the polling units were uploaded by INEC staff and declared Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC as winner of the election.
All the results have now been uploaded onto INEC IREV for all to see.
