IRAN’S Supreme Leader has issued a chilling “red alert” to the United States, warning that any military strike on his soil will ignite a massive regional war that would set the Middle East ablaze.
In a defiant address, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told his followers that while Tehran isn’t looking for a fight, they are more than ready to finish one.
The aging tyrant struck a dual tone of cautious restraint and extreme aggression.
He insisted that his regime would not be the one to pull the trigger first, stating: “We are not the ones who initiate and do not want to attack any country.”
However, the olive branch quickly turned into a sword.
Khamenei warned that the “Iranian nation will strike a strong blow against anyone who attacks it,” making it clear that any limited strike by Western powers would be met with an all-out escalation.
The most terrifying takeaway for global security experts was the Supreme Leader’s shift in rhetoric regarding the scale of a potential conflict.
By threatening a regional war, Khamenei is signaling that Iran would not fight the U.S. alone. Instead, he hinted at activating Iran’s “Axis of Resistance”—a network of proxy militias across Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen—to strike Western interests across the entire map.
