Tehran Boss Boasts U.S. Troops Captured in Secret Raid as White House Accused of ‘Death Toll Cover-Up’

BY OUR FOREIGN DESK

IRAN has sensationally claimed it is holding American soldiers captive following a murky military encounter, The Sun can reveal.

In a bombshell statement that threatens to blow the lid off the Middle East powder keg, Ali Larijani—the hardline Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council—declared that Tehran has snatched “a number” of U.S. troops.

Larijani didn’t just stop at the kidnap claims; he accused Washington of a cynical “misleading narrative” to hide the true scale of their losses from the American public.

”A number of American soldiers have been captured,” Larijani boasted during a high-level briefing.

He mocked official reports coming out of the Pentagon, suggesting the U.S. is drip-feeding bad news to avoid a political firestorm.

”They are promoting a misleading narrative claiming that five or six American soldiers were killed,” Larijani claimed.

“Then, over time, they gradually raise the death toll under various pretexts, such as accidents or fabricated incidents.”

The explosive allegations suggest a sophisticated cover-up is underway, with the Iranian chief implying that deaths originally blamed on “crashes” or “mechanical failures” are actually the result of direct combat with Iranian forces.

While the Pentagon has yet to officially respond to Larijani’s taunts, the claims come amid a period of “Maximum Tension” in the region.

For months, U.S. forces and Iranian-backed militias have been trading blows across Iraq and Syria.

Publicly, the U.S. has reported only minor skirmishes and a handful of casualties due to drone strikes. If Larijani is telling the truth, it would represent the most significant escalation since the 1979 Hostage Crisis.

Analysts believe Iran may be using these claims as “psychological warfare” to pressure the U.S. into withdrawing its remaining “boots on the ground” from the Middle East.

If U.S. personnel are indeed in Iranian hands, it sets the stage for a terrifying diplomatic standoff. Tehran has a long history of using Western detainees as “human bargaining chips” to secure the release of frozen assets or imprisoned spies.

For now, the families of service members waiting at home are left wondering: is this Iranian propaganda, or is a massive military scandal about to break wide open?
