A DEVASTATING attack on an Iranian primary school has left dozens of innocent children dead and sparked a furious international outcry.
The massacre took place at the Shajareh-Tayyebeh Primary School in Minab County, an area now reeling from what Iranian officials are calling a “barbaric” act of aggression.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian moved quickly to blame the United States and Israel for the tragedy, describing it as a “cowardly attack” on a civilian target that has pained the hearts of “freedom-loving people around the world.”
In an emotional statement released today, President Pezeshkian condemned the strike as a violation of Iranian land that would never be forgotten.
”This barbaric act marks yet another dark page in the long record of crimes,” the President said. “These crimes will never be erased from the historical memory of our nation.”
The President has ordered a total mobilization of medical and relief services in the region, demanding “immediate and uninterrupted care” for the survivors currently fighting for their lives in local hospitals.
The strike on Minab, located in the south of the country, has sent shockwaves through the region. While Western officials have yet to comment on the specific allegations of involvement, the rhetoric from Tehran suggests a dangerous escalation in tensions.
President Pezeshkian offered his deepest condolences to the “bereaved families,” praying for “patience and peace” for those who lost children in the classroom.
The tragedy in Minab occurs against a backdrop of deteriorating relations between Iran and the West. Minab County, situated near the strategic Strait of Hormuz, has long been a sensitive zone due to its proximity to vital global shipping lanes.
Rising Tensions: For months, the region has been a powderkeg, with Iran frequently accusing “Zionist aggressors” (Israel) and American forces of conducting covert operations within its borders.
Civilian Toll: This incident marks one of the highest recorded civilian casualty counts in a single strike on Iranian soil in recent years.
Political Fallout: President Pezeshkian, often viewed as a more pragmatic figure than his predecessors, has used particularly sharp language in this instance, signaling that Tehran may feel compelled to respond to the “inhumane act.”
”I pray to Almighty God to grant the martyrs of this tragic incident the highest ranks… and to grant patience and peace to their families.” — President Masoud Pezeshkian
