IRAN’S feared Revolutionary Guard has issued a sensational “it wasn’t us” denial following a devastating drone strike on the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh.

In a defiant statement released today, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed the precision attack—which reportedly gutted three floors of the American compound—was actually a “Zionist conspiracy” designed to spark a fresh regional war.

The denial comes after the Wall Street Journal revealed the true extent of the March 3rd attack, reporting that an elite CIA station was among the targets destroyed by two “highly accurate” drones.

While Western intelligence has pointed the finger squarely at Tehran, the IRGC hit back today, declaring:

“This incident has absolutely no connection to the Iranian Armed Forces. Given the strategy of the Zionist enemy, this action certainly originated from the Zionist side.”

The IRGC further warned its neighbours to stay “vigilant” against what it called “American-Israeli conspiracies” aimed at destroying the resources of West Asia.

Despite the denial, military analysts note that the Riyadh attack bore all the hallmarks of IRGC precision. The first drone reportedly breached the embassy’s defenses, with a second projectile flying through the exact same hole just sixty seconds later to maximize the carnage.

The IRGC maintains that its “target bank” is transparent and that it always issues warnings to Muslim countries before launching strikes.

They claim the Riyadh hit doesn’t fit their public profile, despite the ongoing shadow war currently engulfing the Gulf.

The denial arrives at a moment of unprecedented peril for the Middle East. The current crisis was ignited on February 28, 2026, when a massive joint U.S.-Israeli offensive targeted major Iranian cities, including Tehran.

Death of a Leader: The February strikes reportedly killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, decapitating the regime’s leadership and sparking a vow of “crushing revenge” from the IRGC.

The Riyadh Hit: While Saudi officials initially downplayed the March 3rd embassy attack as a “minor fire,” leaked reports now confirm a 12-hour blaze and “unrecoverable” damage to high-security American sectors.

Global Fallout: With Iran now asserting full control over the Strait of Hormuz, global oil prices have skyrocketed.

The IRGC has already claimed successful hits on U.S. assets in Bahrain, Jordan, and Iraq, making their sudden denial of the Riyadh attack a puzzling shift in rhetoric.

Expert View: Some analysts suggest the IRGC is attempting to drive a wedge between Washington and its Gulf allies by framing the embassy hit as a “false flag” operation, even as they continue to exchange fire with U.S. forces across the region.
