TEL AVIV, Israel – The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC has deployed high caliber intercontinental ballistic missiles in its latest strikes on Israel.

The latest onslaught according to Iranian sources were the largest missile launch from Iran with some bypassing Israel’s multi-layered defences to hit intended targets.

So far, the casualties from the attacks have reached about six dozens, with many injured. Search and rescue operation is ongoing in affected areas.

Among targets hit is the Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, a hospital dedicated to Negev Bedouins and University students, in southern Israel.

The IRGC has said it was targeted because the hospital was used for military purpose activities and contained laboratories and military weapons stores.
