BERLIN – VfB Stuttgart defender Pascal Stenzel will be sidelined for up to three weeks due to a torn muscle fibre in his thigh, the Bundesliga club said on Tuesday.
Stenzel suffered the injury during the game against Cologne last weekend and is set to be out “from two to three weeks,” Stuttgart said.
Stuttgart will visit bottom club Schalke on Saturday as both sides fight against relegation.
