ABUJA, Nigeria – Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC have stormed office of the Senator Representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye at the National Assembly and dumped documents in his office.
The officials who waited by the office dumped the documents when they could not have access to the senator who was in the Senate chambers.
Sources say, aides of the Senator were not around when INEC officials visited.
Recall that on Monday, Melaye said the 90 day deadline set for INEC by Section 69 of the 1999 constitution has expired.
