JALINGO, Taraba, Nigeria – The Independent National Electoral Election(INEC) has declared Governor Darius Ishaku winner of the Governorship election election held in Taraba state during the weekend.
Ishiaku polled 520, 433 votes to defeat Sani Abubakar Danladi who scored 362,735 votes during the polls.

INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Shehu Adamu Iya, who announced the results at the state Collation Center in Jalingo, declared Ishaku winner having polled the highest votes during the election.
