ILORIN Kwara, Nigeria – A leaked audio has emerged of an individual acting  allegedly in behalf of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu offering to pay the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the sum of USD 170 million to finance the February 25 presidential and National Assembly election and the March 11 governorship and Houses of Assembly election throughout the federation.

It not clear if the deal between those offering the money and INEC sailed through and the money offered. Listen to the viral audio HERE.

However, in the audio conversation between Mr. Olatunbosun Adeniyi Kuku, the Director General Winning Keys Consult  and a senior INEC official,  Kuku is heard in the audo telling the INEC official that Asiwaju is offering INEC USD 170 million.

He said that Asiwaju has been looking for him. Asiwaju has been looking for you. Do you know what he said, he said no money for vote. Asiwaju is offering INEC usd 170 million that is over N200 billion, you will share it around and everybody will do the bidding”, he said.

We could not verify the authenticity of the audio, but the young man who  identified himself as a contractor with INEC  made the offer in behalf of his paymaster.

He said Asiwaju does not want INEC to spend their money as the number one contractor in INEC hence he is offering them the USD170 million.
