AWKA, Anambra – Governorship candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia, Prof Gregory Ibe has promised to build a state university of medical and allied science in Obingwa.
Prof Ibe made the pledge while addressing a huge crowd of APGA faithfuls who gathered at Opobo junction to welcome him during his campaign tour of Obingwa. The APGA governorship hopeful stated that his government will transform Obingwa by building a flyover interchange bridge across Opobo junction to help ease flow of traffic.
Speaking also at the rally , the senator representing Abia South in the national assembly, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe appealed to the people of Obingwa to replicate the support they gave to him on the election of 25 February by voting massively for Prof Ibe and other APGA candidates from the area during the 11th March governorship and state assembly elections.
The campaign train also visited several wards in Obingwa where Prof Ibe and other APGA candidates interacted with the constituents.
