Things have continued to degenerate in the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) as embattled President of the association, Ms. Ibinabo Fiberesima has gone on rampage, impeaching all chairmen, who have kicked against her orders.
We gathered that the affected chairmen are all those who have continued to recognise Mr. Don Pedro Aganbi as chairman of the association in Lagos instead of her candidate and that of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Victor Osuagwu.
We gathered that the iron lady has vowed to remove all the states chairmen who have dared to challenge her authority for imposing Osuagwu on the Lagos state chapter. Last Friday, Mr. Gabriel Okotie was impeached. We gathered only yesterday, Chairman of the Abuja chapter, Mr. Agility Onwura, who is also the chairman of chairmen, was also impeached. We gathered reliably that Enugu is the next target of her rampaging wind of impeachment, to be followed either with the impeachment of Adamawa on Nasarawa chapter.
Sources told Starconnectmedia that at least four states chairmen may be impeached before the end of the week as part of effort by the iron lady to keep a firm hold on the association.
