IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – The Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Opeyemi Oke has said she has not engaged the services of any group called Sheriff Assistant in the discharge of judicial functions in the state.
In a disclaimer published by the CJ obtained by our correspondent, the CJ warned members of the public not to transact any business with them, wherever they may be found.
“Any loitering around the Deputy Sheriff’s department is hereby prohibited and any violators will be prosecuted”, she said.
