Hamas kills 11 IDF soldiers in ground operation

GAZA – For the second time in 48 hours, the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF today dropped a total of eight bombs in the densely populated Jabalia Refugee Camp, in Gaza, killing dozens and leaving hundreds buried under the rubble.
Residents of the camp, most of whom relocated to the camp following rapid bombardment by Israel in Gaza are now using their hands and all they could get to rescue many believed to have been buried under the rubble.
Israel resulted to bombing the refugee camp following fierce resistant by the Al Kasam Brigade, which has led to the death of 11 Israeli soldiers in 24 hours after the ground operation in Gaza.
So far, Israel has released names of nine(9) soldiers who were killed by Hamas during the ground operation in Gaza.
Israel invaded Gaza following the october 7, 2023 surprise attack on Israel during which 1405 Israelis were killed by Hamas, among them 375 soldiers.
Health Ministry Spokesman, Dr. Ashara Al Qudra, who addressed journalists in Gaza said so far the IDF has killed 8, 796 Palestinians, among them 3,648 children besides women. He said 16 hospitals are no longer in operation due to lack of fuel and constant targeting by the IDF, in a total of 11,000 strikes.
He appealed to residents to supply any amount of fuel they have to hospitals to be able to treat many who are wounded.
So far a total of 240 captives are held in Gaza, while 50 of them have been killed in Israeli air strikes, Hamas has said, adding that the continued bombardment of the Jabalia refugee camp is making it very difficult to negotiate on release of some of the captives.
Meanwhile, IDF spokesman, Daniel Hagari says ground activity in the Gaza Strip continues. He said that since the beginning of the war, the IDF has struck over 11,000 targets belonging to terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip
“Overnight, combined IDF troops struck several terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including operational command centers and Hamas terrorist cells.
“During battles yesterday (Tuesday), IDF troops identified several Hamas terrorists who barricaded themselves in a multi-story building – located near a school, medical center, and government offices – in the area of Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip. IDF troops directed the IAF to strike the terrorists”, he said.
He added that IDF troops identified a vehicle carrying anti-tank missiles driving toward the forces operating in the Gaza Strip. “In response, the troops directed an aircraft to fire toward the vehicle. A hit was identified”, he said.
