LAGOS, Nigeria – What many lawyers get as monthly salary after spending approximately seven good years to qualify is as meager as N20,000, Head of Mission, Leadership and Accountability, Henry Shield has alleged.
Henry Shield who made the allegation on the social media, said the development has turn many female lawyers into prostitutes. He said found it rather unbecoming that a law firm could pay as low as N20,000 to lawyers in one of Nigeria’s most expensive city, Abuja.
Henry Shield who made the allegation did not mention the name of the law firm but threatened to call out.
“If you want to challenge me, I will mention your names and call your stupid law firms out. What manner of nonsense is this?”, he threatened.
