LAGOS, Nigeria – Popular Nollywood star and standup comedian, Okey Bakassi has been defrauded by fraudsters. The lovely easy going actor was defrauded of his hard earned savings in U.S Dollars.
The Nollywood actor said the incident happened two days ago. Ironically, the comedian was driving when he received alerts on his U.S Dollar account.
He was going to drop her daughter at school when the fraudsters struck. The movie star said he received a total of seven alerts on his US Dollar debit card.
He said that before he could reach his bank to block the card, the damage had already been done.
“Internet graudsters hit me hard two days ago. I was driving to drop my daughter at her Uni, by the time I had the opportunity to check my phone, I had received 7 alerts from my dollar prepaid card.
“Before I could reach my bank to freeze the card, enough damage done”, he said
