GAZA, Palestine – The conflict in the Gaza Strip has reached a grim new milestone, with the total number of dead since the start of the ‘Israeli aggression’ passing 65,500, according to a distressing new report from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
The Ministry released its daily statistical report today, revealing the sheer scale of the continuing carnage, with 47 new martyrs and 142 injuries arriving at Gaza hospitals in just the last 24 hours.
The shocking figures mean the overall number of casualties reported since October 7, 2023, now stands at a staggering 65,549 martyrs and 167,518 injuries.
In a particularly grim detail, the Ministry warned that the true death toll is likely to be far higher, stating that ‘a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads’ as ambulance and civil defence crews remain unable to reach them.
The latest report indicates that the brutal fighting from March 18, 2025, until today has alone resulted in 12,956 martyrs and 55,477 injuries.
The toll among those simply trying to survive and distribute vital supplies continues to climb at an alarming rate.
The Ministry recorded five new martyrs and 33 injuries among aid distribution workers—referred to as ‘martyrs of livelihood’—who reached hospitals in the last day.
This brings the overall number of aid workers and civilians killed while seeking or distributing basic provisions to 2,543 martyrs and over 18,614 injuries since the conflict began.
The data was released on September 26, 2025, amidst ongoing international concern about the humanitarian crisis and access to medical care within the besieged territory.
