LAGOS, Nigeria – The National Assembly was this morning thrown into confusion when hoodlums invaded the Senate chamber and actually snatched the mace.
According to reports monitored from Lagos, the men who stormed the Senate are supporters of suspended Senator Ovie Omo- Agege. The unidentified man who got the mace was however wrestled down.
For now the senate has gone into a closed door meeting while security has been beefed up.
