England, February 11, 2016 – Royal Dutch Shell Plc(Shell) said it has noted the announcement by BG Group Plc, confirming that the High Court of Justice of England and Wales has okayed the scheme of arrangement to effect the combination between Shell and BG.
Shell made the announcement in a brief statement published on its website.
The brief statement reads:
“Royal Dutch Shell plc (“Shell”) notes today’s announcement by BG Group plc (“BG”) confirming that the High Court of Justice of England and Wales has today sanctioned the scheme of arrangement (the “Scheme”) to effect the Combination between Shell and BG”, She said.
